Great Smoker

I have been enjoying my smoker for over a year. Smoke, grill, braise..this is the way to go...no flair-up...Great food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was skeptical but VERY PLEASED NOW...!!!

I have been looking for a "Higher" end smoker but really didn't want to spend big money.... I came across this smoker and was intrigued but very skeptical with the Wi-Fi....
Well I bought it and tried it out for the first time yesterday 03-26-18 and was blown away by how well it cooked a (Test) Roaster Chicken. I am looking forward to trying other meats and such.
About the Wi-Fi. There are soooooo many variables with all different systems out there ALL having different compatibility issues that I'm not surprised to see all the negative comments. I found it to not to be too difficult. (I do a lot of work in IT). A couple things. You MUST be on the same network on your phone as the network you want the DADO system to connect to. Make sure you wireless system is up to date. The"newer" Wi-Fi routers work really well. The better that range of your router the better it will be for hooking up your unit in your yard.
I'm REALLY hoping Char-Broil doesn't scrap these systems. IOT is definitely the wave of the future!!!

This is my fifth Charbroil Grill / Smoker and I love everyone. Every Household should have at least one Charbroil Grill or Smoker.

Fool proof smoking

I love this smoker. No fuel to buy. Temp easy to regulate. Smoke is indirect an perfumes the meat with ease. Most Items are easy to clean in the kitchen sink or dishwasher. The round shape does make it a bit challenging to fit larger cuts in the body but the results are well worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great starter smoker

Bought this smoker few months back n I love getting my smoke on . Not a whole lot of work compared to actually smoking n tending the fire . Put meat in , select on app type of meat it is n that's pretty much it . Cooks well , smells delicious , great product . I just have to keep practicing to figure out what meat im good at smoking . Lol

Useless , waste of time !

I have been trying to get this thing working for an hour and a half . App does not work . I bought the big easy fryers and liked , so I thought this would be good . After this experience is will never buy a char broil product again . I can't believe they would sell a product that is so problematic. I've read reviews and lots of people with same problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased the Simple Smoker and after seven months I absolutely LOVE IT!!!
Plug it in. My phone app tells me its connected. Select Meat and it starts. Have made baby back ribs, brisket, pulled pork and turkey. Honestly, the best money I have ever spent. Auto-clean is activated through the app and when its complete just brush off the ashes and put baskets in the dishwasher. Literally five minutes.
