Great grill; wish it would last

Overall a great grill; cooks evenly, and easy. The infrared system guarantees no flare ups. A bit touchy trying to keep low temps, but the main drawback is the infrared tray and grill grates are very susceptible to rust. I am going to have to replace the tray after this summer grilling season. Given my location (generally high humidity, out by the pool), I am worried I'll have to do that every year.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a replacement grill for my last Char-Broil TRU-Infrared which was 9 years old. With the Infrared cooking system, you really do cook more evenly and the results are fantastic. No drips or flare-up - ever! I assembled myself (be prepared to spend 2-3 hours on it as there are many pieces. I would have given this 5 stars but the lid was shipped bent and had to be replaced. Other than that, all the parts on the Signature line are very very well made and durable. Cant go wrong here!

I recently sold my house and my previous Char-Broil infrared grill went with the sale. I bought this grill as a replacement about three weeks ago and, though smaller than my last one, it performs very well. I converted to natural gas and it is the only way to go!!!! No more running out of and refilling propane tanks. The only very minor drawback of this grill is that even with one burner on low, the cooking temp stays pretty hot. I just crack open the top slightly to adjust.
I would have loved to have had the model they discontinued, especially since it cost less, but I am very happy with this grill so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never had a grill with the infrared feature . It is the best . Nothing burns and you have no lava rocks or ceramic bricks to take care of.

the only way to grill!

I have had this grill for about a year and a half or 2, and use it weekly. Food always comes out great and i now use it over my charcoal grill. for quick easy great tasting grilled food the infrared is the way to go! So far the grill has held up great too. the only thing is the temp probes quick working, but no biggie for me and they can be replaced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Even grilling

I researched and read reviews and searched about 8 different resellers before I found the grill I wanted. Cast iron grills, stainless steel heat deflectors. I have been cooking on this for one summer and I absolutely love the grill. I do not use the top warming rack and actually removed it to get the feel of a larger grilling surface.
The grill has a side burner. I have only used it once to boil a pot of sweet corn. It worked good for with a covered pot, not sure how it would boil if the pot was not covered. The light breeze blows the side burner flame and should actually have a better wind guard installed on the underside.
I recommend this grill to my brothers, one of them already had one and he loves his!
It took me close to 3 hours to assemble. Uff-da!

No flare-up

Since I purchased this grill I have been impressed with it. I occasionally cook the meal for our volunteer fire dept. meeting. In the last couple of months I have cooked both brats(40) and hamburgers(32) for meeting night, without a flare-up from the grease. that impresses me!
