Great Grill for gas or charcoal

My wife and I both love this grill, it's very easy to use either fuel method. My only complaint is the quality of the wheels. I bought my grill about 10 months ago and the wheels have already disintegrated and the shaft bent. I would purchase this grill again even with this problem. Now, I need to replace the wheels with something much sturdier and a stronger shaft that won't bend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the combo, but cheap

Love the fact that you can choose gas or charcoal. Easily switches between the two. BUT, we have only had this grill a little over a year, and it has not lasted, even though we use a grill cover. The bottom rusted out, and fell off in chunks, the inside room is flaking off, the grill grates are deteriorating. While the combo is great, it's not worth it if it has to be replaced every year, especially for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a wonderful grill. Have used both gas and charcoal, both fuels work very well. The control on the gas grill lets you slow cook, or quick sear. The 3 controls work great together, and also very well on their own. The Charcoal section is close to the grates which makes searing very easy. You can leave a couple of the charcoal sections empty which gives you a cool spot to slow cook. Heats up quickly and can get super hot, or steady low temp for roasting. Out performs my Weber Gas Grill due to its versatility. Will see how durable it is over time. Got a cover with it, grill and cover have been a great investment.

Gas2Coal is the best

Have put mine through the ringer, just refreshed internals (burners, carryover tubes and shields/grates). Am so happy parts are even better than originals, considering this sits outside year round we should be able to get another 2-3 years before another refresh.

Great way to mix up your grilling enjoyment

I have had this grill for 3 years and it has lasted as well as more expensive gas grills (Webber). The option to cook over coals is nice as the flavor if so different. No flare ups if you spread and let the coals do their job. Easy lighting of coals but if you want to cook quick, the gas grill does a wonderful job. As with all gas grills, the tents and burners will decay with lots of use over time and charbroil has a much easier and cheaper ordering system than my experience with Webber.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HYBRID COOKING IS THE WAY TO GO

I've had my Char-Broil grill for over 3 years, it's the best grill I've ever owned,love the spark feature built into the first knob, works great the first time. I use this grill all year round even in sub zero temps. I use Charcoal, Lump Coal and Wood and Wood Pellets. I'm just know having to replace the charcoal try that burnt through (nothing lasts forever) I use this grill, it's not a yard decoration, I Love It and I would get another if I ever needed a new one. I only wish that Char-Broil would use adjustable venting, that would work the best.

The Best for flavor!

If you want the amazing flavor of charcoal and the convenience of gas to light it look no farther as this grill is awesome!
Overall design is great, grates are superb and its VERY easy to use! Simply remove grates add a layer of your favorite charcoal brand (empty between uses of course) put the grates back on flip on the gas tank, then (Tip!) the Middle burner first > depress the electronic igniter (takes a battery so no click snap action needed) then turn on the outer burners and ignite them, let preheat and you are ready to grill!
