I ordered this piece to match the 28 inch Spinner for use on an upcoming Disney vacation. The 21 inch does in fact measure larger in person than what the size dimesions read on the luggage description. I'm concerned I may not be able to use this as a Carry On, which will defeat the excitement I had over my first matching set of luggage! I'm going to drive to the airport prior to my trip to have them measure so I'll know whether I can use as a Carry On or whether I'll need to purchase another piece. If I can use as a Carry On I would rate as 5 stars.

My husband is a pilot so I'm always flying stand-by last minute and can only have one carry on bag. This bag makes me smile when I'm sitting in a crowded airport wondering if I'm even going to get on the flight! I can fit 5 days worth of stuff in this and I don't feel like I'm cramming it in. It's so easy to roll and it's fantastic when waiting in line because it stands up on its own, no flopping forward like some suitcases I've owned. The bag is a big carry on so be careful about which airline you fly. It's a lightweight bag that fits great in the overhead bin but some airlines might say it's an inch or two too big. (Only because of the wheels) The info for airlines and carry ons is listed on this site which is very helpful! I've had no problems and I even bought the Minnie red and white dots one as well!

Very cute but it's bigger than the stated 21 inches, closer to 24 and that makes it too big for a carry on bag. Otherwise I would give this 5 stars.

To big for carry on now

Before you buy check sizing. I bought this as my carry on and now the overall size is to big for Alaska airlines carry on size. Please update chart. New size guide for Alaska is 22x14x9 that includes wheels. So now thus bag is 2 inches to tall

I purchased the red and white polka dot 21" luggage. It looks cute online but in person even better . Plus it really looks like a quality bag. We visit Disney every year, and I can't wait to use it. After I got the bag my daughter saw it and loved it so I bought a second one for her.

Purchased 2 of these for my twin 4 year olds, but make no mistake this is not kids luggage. It's the usual quality piece you'd expect from Tourister. We plan on using these for an upcoming Disney trip this Fall (I'll use one and the girls can share the other for now), but expect we'll be making many more over the years. Even if you're not going to Disney, this is very adorable and easier to spot than your typical basic black bag!!
