Nice and quiet!

This a great air purifier!This unit looks great which makes it easy to put in any room of the house. I like that it's not loud so I can have it in the kids room or any room of the house. One of the things I like the most about this air purifier is that it's wifi enabled. All I had to do was install the app. Once I downloaded the app it walks you through the process. Extremely easy to use. I can control the settings from my phone. I can schedule it to turn on at different times as well as set the fan speed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an easy to use "smart" air purifier. I did receive this product as a sample to review.

Easy to use, Works great

I received a Holmes Smart Air Purifier as a sample to test. It has been in continuous use for a couple weeks now. "Homey" works great. We have noticed a lot less dust and pet hair (2 cats, 1 dog) on our hardwood floor, and less twinkle dust in the beams of sunlight. It runs quietly 95% percent of the time, but can be heard when it kicks into higher speeds (does this automatically depending on air quality). The smart phone app is pretty nifty, as you can turn it on and off, and control the speed from anywhere in the house. Set up is easy, but slow. You can also set an on/off schedule from the app, but it occasionally forgets your settings and reverts to default schedule.

I never put air purifiers to use like this - thanks for making it schedulable! I seldom used air purifiers although I bought a couple of them, because I keep forgetting and turn them on only once in 2-3 months when I am cleaning - but I got this one, I just created a daily schedule to run it for a couple of hours and I can see a whole lot of difference - very well thought of product! I thought I was over-paying initially, but I see the value now.

Love this product! I was so impressed by the ease of using the app to schedule and change the output of the air purifier. It's so nice that you can change it from anywhere, especially when we're ready for bed and one of us forget to turn it on (we use it for white noise). The only thing that I would change about this product is the design/color. It looks a little outdated, like 80's panelling. Otherwise it's very high quality and very impressive! (DISCLAIMER: I was given this product free of charge in order to test and review.)

Great product

Setup of the purifier was simple and straightforward. The mobile app installed and pairing with the purifier was easy. The instructions explained each step of the process adequately. We have had the purifier running continuously since it was set up. At first, there was a noticeable odor from the ionizer, but that went away after a couple of days. We have dogs and cats inside the house and the air seems much cleaner after running the purifier. My husband's allergies also seem to bother him less. The unit is very quiet on the low setting. As the setting increases, so does the noise level, as would any fan. On high or auto, it is louder than I would prefer for long periods of time, but it could be run at that level when you are out of the room. Overall, I have been extremely pleased with the air purifier and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great features, easy setup

This was very easy to setup, I just took it out of the box and plugged it in. The app is a great bonus since I can control it from anywhere. I had a little trouble connecting to my wifi but it can be temperamental. Once I was connected, it was a breeze. I've unplugged and moved it all over my house but it connects every time without issue. The blower is very quiet, I sometimes forget it is on! If you have it on high, it is noticeable but I run it on auto so it tends to utilize the low setting once it assesses the air quality. It's appearance is my only complaint. It's rather large and kind of ugly but I put it in a corner and the benefits of this purifier outweigh this one slight negative. This purifier was given to me by the manufacturer to review.

Awesome air filter!

We love this air purifier! Holmes is a great brand, so quality was expected and it delivered. We have kids and pets and allergies so air quality is important to us. This unit was efficient and easy to use. I am in love with the WeMo app that controls the filter. I can control the speed, create a schedule, turn on the ionizer, and get readings on filter life right on my phone. It will even send me messages when the filters are getting low. I really appreciate that, I never remember when to change them. I love love love it. It's a really attractive unit. Some air filters we have had have kind of stuck out against our furnishings but we have this in our main room and it looks great. I was glad to sample this filter and I would highly recommend it.

Only Air Filter That Works!

Severe all round allergies, coupled with dust & mold from archived materials sent me to allergist/immunologist. He recommended HOLMES. Purchased 1 for my office - initial air quality so bad, filter was changed in 6 weeks; next in 6 months. Hoping next set will last 9 months! 2nd for bedroom - Husband & I noticed immediate help with allergies. Under eye dark circles disappeared after 8 weeks; general health improvement. Highly recommend.
