So easy to clean

This humidifier is the easiest to clean I have ever owned.Will run for about 12 hours on high.If the A size Holmes filters are not on sale when you need them check AMAZON. The fan will continue to run even when it is out of water so try and add water before this happens.With out water will cause filter to get dirtier.The cover for the fan just pulls off and back on just push it back in after cleaning.Have owmed this model now going on my second winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First purchase on Holmes Cool Mist Humidifier. I own several Holmes products and always tend to purchase this brand. I am impressed with the quietness and the ease of setting it up. Especially like the large filter and the monthly reminder dial on the side. Past experiences with cool mist humidifiers have resulted in lots of moisture thrown into the air. The unit does not seem to over whelm you with moisture. Thinking it will be great with the dry heat in the winter months.

I have bought two of these cool mist humidifier over the past several years. I was very pleased with the quiet operation of the first one so I got another for extra rooms in my home. Besides the ease of filling and cleaning it really helps with the dry winter conditions here in the north.

I have used my new humidifier for 2 weeks now and I am very satisfied with it. It is easy to fill and it provides good moisture for my room. The best part is that it runs very quietly as compared to my prior humidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already own model HM1761 humidifier which I am still using. This new model is inferior to the older one. For example: the tank is much flimsier. It has no handles. The two indentations are supposed to substitute for handles. The new tank is much more difficult to install and prone to slipping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
