Thermostat didn't work

I bought this unit to use in my mud room. The thermostat settings were 65F and up, and also a 40F "FrostProtect" feature. I set the temp to 40F FrostProtect setting and walked away. When I checked on it a couple hours later, the heater was running full blast and the room temp was up to 65F, much higher than normal, even though the temp setting on the display showed 40. I hit the "down" arrow, which didn't effect the 40 shown on the display, but the heater stopped so I assumed maybe I had done something wrong. Check again a couple hours later and the heater was blasting away again.
I returned the unit the next day.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great When it Works

It quit once before. Fan no heat. I was going to return it, but I plugged it in and it worked! Worked great until the temperatures here dropped to the teens. Fan again, no heat. Unplugged it, waited 30 minutes as the instructions said. Still no heat.
I'm very disappointed and cold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
