the wireless receiver is a bit frustrating, in the middle of watching net tv and it keeps going out and loading or freezing, sometimes can not connect to the network at all? - all other devices in the room work great performing the same activity (ps3, laptop, ipod) - it boast a netflix button on the remote; i subscribed to netflix and half the time can't even watch it on the tv
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had the tv for just barely 2 years and it broke tv turns on but cant get any picture not showing philips screen vol. or inputs i just think for spending this much money it should last more then 2 years.....
Easy to connect to internet. MAC wireless connectivity easy also. Great picture. Easy setup menu for picture quality. I would like this in a 46-47" model also.
I am pleasantly surprised with the addition of Internet to TV. My only fault with this TV is that it takes a few seconds to turn on. TOTALLY not a dealbreaker! Great TV!
Pros: great picture, easy to navigate through menu
Cons: takes a few seconds to turn on...
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice picture, horrible software

While the picture quality and feature set of this television are excellent, unfortunately the software should should go back for beta testing. I have had constant problems with network connections on two separate and completely unique network configurations. As an IT professional I have tried everything I know to get a consistent and reliable wifi connection, but nothing seems to work. Ontop of that, the tv won't play multiple standard video formats through DNLA and the UI leaves much to be desired. Long story short, if you're hooking this TV up to some other box for your media viewing experience, you're bound to be happy, but if you're relying on it for Netflix, Hulu, DNLA, or any network connectivity, you will be disappointed.
My tv is great except for one large thing - it is supposed to connect to the internet but not matter what I do it will not. Store will not take it back. Only tv I have so cant send it in. All my other things hook to the internet but it will not. So I cannot access my netflix with it. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Pros: great picture and sound
Cons: will not connect to internet like it is supposed 2

Great TV- But Wireless Feature Unable to connect

Before buying this TV be sure your wireless router is within 20 feet of the TV- with only 1 wall in between I tried numerous times to connect and while Customer Service was helpful they told me about this distance issue. While I had 4 bars on my connection it would not download the software or bring up netflix etc. I finally had to return the TV even though I loved the picture etc. Would not recommend unless you can connect wired- or modem in same room. I was able to buy another TV and a DVD player with the wireless capability and had it connected in minutes. Would have been great it could have connected- that is why I bought this TV.
