Good looking fridge with some design flaws

Have had for about 5 months now, works perfectly and looks great. Only complaints are:
* Bottom drawer of the fridge runs the entire width of the unit, requiring both doors to be open in order to access. I guess this might be good for wide and flat things, but I don't have too many of those. * Ice machine piles up the ice at the back of the ice bin. When opening the freezer door and the ice bin is full, usually a few ice cubes will fall out the back of the bin into the bottom of the freezer or on to the kitchen floor. They are knocked loose either by hitting the ice machine or from the slight jarring when the drawer extension stops.
Otherwise, great fridge.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Had refrigerator for 2 years and still love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited to write my review because I think you can only tell if these appliances are good after owning them for awhile. I have not had to repair mine and love all the space & flexibility it offers. It's easy to clean & looks great!

No mechanical issues BUT ....

1. I found the ice maker ever bit as frustrating as the other owner reviews! I had read those in earlier reviews and thought surely Electrolux would have fixed that; was assured they had. Beware unless you like laying on the floor with a yardstick trying to get ice cubes out of the bottom so you can close the bottom drawer!!! 2. In addition, way too much inconsistency in temperatures across this refrigerator. Top shelves are way too warm, limiting where certain items can be stored. Very aggravating. 3. Cannot open the left bin without opening both doors. 4. The plastic spacer on the right door was supposed to be so much better design but it often doesn't fold back and isn't in the correct position when I shut the door, which just bounces out of my hand instead of shutting. Have to manually put the spacer in the correct position and try again. 5. The little flap under the butter tray will not stay closed. Minor but just another aggravation since Electrolux already knew about this. WARNING: I have had my frig for over 2 years now and it seems these issues, known and reported before I ever bought mine, were known and ignored by Electrolux! Too bad. It could have been a wonderful refrig and should be for the cost!

Very disappointed

I received the refrigerator and icemaker was not working right from the start. They could not fix it so they gave me a brand new one. After about a month, icemaker wasn't working again. This time water was leaking into refrigerator and freezing the door shut. They fixed it, 2 days later same exact thing! I am disgusted with this refrigerator, I would never ever buy this brand again nor ever recommend this appliance to anyone! I hope they do good by me and refund my money because if this is how it is in 6 months, I can't imagine after the warranty is over!

Does not hold temperature

We've had this fridge for approx. 3 weeks and the fridge just will not stay below 40. The temp on the side of the door says 33, but the only spot that comes close to this is the cool zone drawer. We are using a very sensitive thermometer that will read the temp pretty accurately and this fridge is consistently above 40. We have lost lots of food due to spoilage because of this. We are getting it serviced for the 2nd time today in hopes that this can be fixed.

Problems

In the 3 months that we have had the refrig installed, we are now on our third service call to fix the Fan vibration. Both fans make a contact sound when running.

The full length handles on the french doors should be shortened so they are more than 36" (counter height) above the floor. The placement of our unit is 1' from a 90* corner, the left side handle hits the counter edge, restricting the door from opening another 10* The volume of ice cubes is not satisfactory either, only producting 6 cubes every 2.5 hour is a joke.We are a family of 2, so the fridge does not get opened that often
All in all, we are disappointed in the performance of this item

We just got this refrigerator and are somewhat disappointed. The refrigerator section is fine with lots of room. However, the cool zone drawer sticks and rubs up against the shelf above it when opening and closing. I image that will eventually wear down and break.
The freezer is small and difficult to organize, but I suppose we will get used to it. It seems we also have pieces missing from the freezer so now we have to figure that out. We were hopeful with this purchase but are finding that Electrolux is no different than all the rest of the manufacturers that provide poor quality.

A lot of rust and gaskets dead after a few years.

I bought this model (EI27BS16JS6) 7 years ago. Rust is everywhere, and gaskets are completed dead.
