I'm on my second replacement and now this one has crapped out. Ice maker problems, water problems, the evaporator fan makes a awful vibrating noise and now my freezer is 22 degrees F and the fridge is 66 degrees F.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buy extended warranty

I have had this under a year and a half and it does not work. The parts are covered but the labor is not. I should have spent the time doing research on this before I purchased it.

I bought my fridge 5 years ago and in all honesty it stinks. I have had many service calls to repair the ice making machinery they have replaced my complete refridgerator and many ice making parts. Now my display is gone and it just crushes ice no cubes any more. This is the worst refiridgerator I have ever owned. Painful although it keeps food the ice situation is stupid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We did not plan on purchasing this refrigerator at first we originally went to a big box store and were going to purchase a refrigerator but just were not happy with their selection's. So we left and decided to think on the purchase of another refrigerator. The next day we did not return to the big box store and decided to try a mom and pop showroom in the town were we live. It was there that we located the Electrolux refrigerator that we purchased. It is much bigger than we were used to and holds a huge variety of groceries. The freezer has two baskets to hold all the meat you could possibly handle. We like the IQ touch controls and they are easy to operate. We purchased the solid white one and are quite pleased with the refrigerator in general. It is an awesome product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

New Kitchen

We've had the fridge for a few months now, the only thing I have to complain about is the surface - we bought the black thinking it would be better than stainless for fingerprints and scraches. WE WERE wrong :-( Magnets scratch it, the wrong cleaning cloth scraches it, and it shows fingerprints very easily! Don't purchase the black of you're looking to avoid this! I wish we wouldn't have, and now we have scratches on our brand new fridge :-(

Good Morning Darlene- I certainly understand your new Electrolux refrigerator is forming scratches beneath your magnets. I would be careful sliding your magnets across your refrigerator. A home remedy I would suggest would be as follows: 1. Remove the magnets from your refrigerator. Wipe down the entire door surface with a slightly moistened wash cloth to remove any surface dirt. 2. Mix ½ tablespoon of baking soda with 1 cup of warm water. Gently scrub your refrigerator with a wash cloth and the baking soda mixture to remove any dirt buildup around the area where the magnet was located. Baking soda is a mild abrasive and shouldn’t scratch the stainless surface. 3. Rinse the door with clear water to remove the baking soda residue and wipe dry. 4. Dip a clean cloth in vinegar or a stainless steel cleaner so the cloth is thoroughly moistened but not dripping. Rub the magnet marks with the vinegar or cleaner until the stains fade completely, moistening the rag in fresh cleaner as necessary. Wipe down the rest of the door with the vinegar or cleaner. 5. Wipe the vinegar residue from your door with a water-dampened wash cloth. Wipe dry, buffing the door with a circular rubbing motion to bring out the shine. Ice Maker is the worst I've ever come across

I've had this fridge for about 4 years now and have a least one service call a year on the ice maker. Poorly designed, cheap parts, and operates even worse. I have to turn everything off several times a year just to thaw out the water line that is placed too close to the ice making parts. Right now, I'm on the 3rd. time the insides of the ice maker have fallen out. I would not recommend this thing to anyone. Run away as fast as possible. I'll never buy another Electrolux product!
