Frustrating

We have had our Frigidaire for 14 months. Love the looks of the unit and the space inside. However, we have had constant problems with the ice maker. Have had 2 different companies make a total of 10 repair calls and still have not been able to fix the problem. Working with Frigidaire now to hopefully resolve our issues with this unit. Would not recommend purchasing this style until problems with ice maker can be corrected.

ice maker problems

I have waited so long for a new refridgerator and chose the Fridgidaire Gallery double oven stove and fridge. The fridge looks great, I wish it was just a bit roomier,
but the ice maker is awful. I finally have a fridge with an ice maker and it takes 2 days to refill. The unit has been replaced but we are having the same problem. I am so upset. I am waiting for a call back from my sales person to see what happens next.

Fits the bill!

Wanted a counter depth, stainless model for when the time comes of us to remodel our new home. We really love the model we chose. (There was no fridge when we purchased house). It has been in our kitchen about 5 months now and we all still love it. Only 2 issues we have with it. One is you must make sure the right hand door fully closes as it tends not to and 2, it can be a bit on the noisy side when running. This was an on-line purchase, so we never saw the fridge til it was delivered But it was a good choice.

I have had tree of them in the past few months. First one made noise, 2nd on had problems with the ice maker and freezer. After mutiple visits by repairmen it was replaced by the 3rd one. 2 early too tell now.

Meets Our Needs

We love our new fridge - perfect for our family. Would prefer if the bottom drawer in the fridge were two instead of one long one for the sake of having to open both doors to access the drawer. Other than that no complaints.

I love my new refrigerator except for one little problem: whenever i open the freezer door for more than a minute or two, the default freezer setting goes haywire. It gradually rises from 0 degrees...sometime all the way up to 10 degrees.

I bought this fridge and have had continuing problems with fan noise. After three service calls, it was finally corrected. Much to my dismay the noise is coming back intermittently.
Also, electronics failure caused me to lose a full fridge of food due to the unit shutting down while I was out of town for a couple days..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
