Look at them go and go!

Modern Update To a Classic Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it comes to AA batteries, I purchase for two main use cases: one, the everyday items I use all the time and will be chewing through batteries on a fairly regular, consistent basis (TV remove, computer mouse, children's toys, etc.) and, two, for those mission critical items around the house that may not be used every day, but *must* work when I need them (safety devices, flashlights, etc.). For regular use, I go with re-chargeable AAs always, they don't need to hold a charge on the shelf and the cost of purchasing and recharging is far less than the cost of buying non-rechargeables. When I need to know that my battery is still going to hold a charge in 5 to 10 years without any use - non-rechargeables are the way to go, and these Duracell Quantum batteries take it up a notch and add in a reliable way to test that they've held their charge. I've used older models in the past with a Powercheck-like feature, but it always felt like a gimmicky add-on and wasn't always reliable. In the new Quantums, the feature seems to have come to maturity, and now I can't imagine a battery without it.
Duracell was kind enough to provide me with a free sample of these batteries, and to put them to the test, I loaded them into a flashlight that I keep around that I know chews through batteries. Not only did they hold their own, but after significant usage - a quick test of the Powercheck bar shows that they could have gone on where I know my normal AAs would have started wearing down.
Bottom line, for a reliably held charge and the comfort of knowing you can check the charge periodically so you know it will be there for you, Duracell Quantum is the way to go!

long lasting batteries

My was a little curious if these were going to be like every other battery we have tried in the past but after using them for the extent we did we are pleasantly surprised how long these lasted! My Son has a innotab tablet that runs off batteries and we were changing out dead batteries every time we would turn around. That was not the case with these Duracell Quantum batteries. I couldn't believe how long they lasted. We went on a summer vacation road trip and a few hours away from home and he played on his game the full length of the trip there and back and in between and when we finally came home it still have some life left to it!!!After many many other brand batteries we have used and gone through we have finally found a great set of batteries we will be purchasing from here on out.

Don't chance a dead battery

Batteries for Gamers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gamers these are great batteries. We put a set in a wii controler and in a set in an xbox controller and played all we could for weeks and the batteries are still running very strong. Get a set and get your game on.

Impressive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been an Energizer man but I have to say Duracell has impressed me so far. These batteries are great and so far have stood up to the demand of a battery that gets a lot of use on a construction site. I use my flashlight every day at work and these batteries have not left me in the dark. If you want a battery that will keep going after daily repeatedly use then I definitely recommend Duracell Quantum. Sorry Energizer. Looks like the little pink bunny has met his match!
