It finally works!

This dryer has a 'flow senser' that will not let the heat come on if there is little to no flow. When setting up it indicated low flow. Cleaned the duct and still no go. Tested it without it hooked to the duct and still no go. While this was going on the 'touch control' buttons had to be pushed in farther to work, and finally the large control knob fell back also. LG sent a repair man out the next week, looked at it and ordered parts. New front panel and control board. Came back with the parts next week and it still indicated low flow. Came back next week with more parts [two thermostats and a thermister]. Finally works! So a month after the machine was delivered we could wash clothes. It does a good job drying now, I just worry about how long?

it runs quite and the drying sensor helps with over drying your cloths so you don't over dry and the steam fresh setting works great to freshen up pillows blankets coats ect...

We bought this dryer to accompany our new LG washer, so far we have been very pleased. The dryer is quiet, easy to use, and dries our clothes completely.
We have not used all of the features yet, but are excited to start experimenting with them as new needs come up.
My biggest apprehension was that the drum is not stainless steel (compared to the 3470) - but the machine feels sturdy, our clothes dry completely, and we have not had any issues with static (even without bounce sheets added to the loads).
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

Great dryer with great features

We are very happy with this product. When we got it we were using dryer sheets and noticed that clothes were not drying completly. We found out that dryer sheets cause issues witht eh dry sensors and they recommend w they not be used. After stopping the use of dryer sheets the clothes were drying completly.

I went from a 15 yo dryer to this one - huge difference!!! Quick drying, super features, easy to understand, beautiful and I love the song!!! Sometimes it doesn't dry heavy stuff all the way, but all I have to do is set it to dry more, eh?!
