Great unit, one suggestion

After two years of operation, we noticed both the wine and the cigar sides were not reaching set temps and the unit would run constantly.
We found that the rear screens were clogged with dust (wife was embarrassed!). Cleaning the screens and the unit immediately began to operate efficiently.

I would suggest adding a note to troubleshooting and maintenance to check the screens on a regular basis.

Great combo unit

I read a few of the reviews and agree with many of the "but" comments. However, the cons are minor relative to the overall benefits. It is not perfect "but" it is the best humidor combo option available, imo. We would have appreciated a black trim option as well, but no one mentions trim when our guests almost always compliment the piece. It is clear that it is not meant for under the bar. The description clearly indicates that it is free standing. It is the center piece in a lounge area before the 2nd floor deck walk out. It's great to be able to store wine, water and sticks in one
convenient location. The functionality and operation has been w/o fail after nearly 2 yrs of ownership. Well done Whynter and thank you for a phenomenal product!

Looks great, affordable, albeit using a bit too much electricity for such a little unit, it’s one technology iteration to becoming a hit. Needs to accommodate a bit more heat and humidity in the cigar section. And be able to go ever so slightly cooler in the wine section. And the device that measures humidity is worthless in the unit I received. Probably worth whytner’s time in investing in a $5 digital version that actually works. What’s the point of so much effort in making such an item and drop such a low quality device in there for humidity measurements?

More or less what I've been searching for. The wine side works well for reds storage. and the cigar side has enough space for my entire collection and more. Really like the Spanish cedar drawers. High end feel to this product.

Not meant for under a bar counter

They should tell you this unit won’t cool if you place it into a space under a built in bar. The cooling vents are on the side not in the front like other so the unit overheats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this unit! Getting extra drawers for more capacity since I dont typically buy boxes of cigars. Wine side keeps bottles chilled, but not cold, which is perfect. (EW)

I just received the Wine/Cigar Cooler, love the wine side, keeps the temperature even and enough room for my use. Still working with the cigar side to stabilize the RH, as some have stated it will take some time to balance it. Look forward to the time when it is stable.
