Love the size....

Not happy with the smudging of the stainless - difficult to clean, but my main complaint is the water dispenser has a slow leak - emptying the water repository daily.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

PERFECT FRIG!

I spent hours online reading reviews. This frig fit our needs perfectly. One of the main reasons I purchased this model is due to the fact so many other refrigerators had negative reports on the ice maker and water flow or dripping. This model had no problems in the last year. Having the ice maker on the bottom allows for better spacing in the frig. I do keep an extra container is the freezer filled with ice so it is easier to grab ice. The water flow is better than many other refrigerators, but it is still not fast.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect size for my kitchen

I bought this refrigerator about a year ago and it was the only refrigerator I could fit due to the width of the cabinets in my kitchen at my beach house. The look is very sleek and I can organize my food well inside. There are two cons: 1) It does not have an ice dispenser - only a water dispenser and I miss having crushed ice once in a while. 2) The foot in the bottom is flimsy and trying to adjust to the correct height due to floor grade was not easy. Other than that it is a very good refrigerator. (I just realized that they are no longer manufacturing this model.)

Disappointed by quality and operation

Bought this two years ago. We have always had trouble adjusting the fruit and vegetable drawer settings. Food in drawer spoils quickly.
Last week the 'plastic' handle snapped off. Cheap plastic bracket attaches the door handle to the door. Just snapped right off.

Plastic parts keep breaking!!!!

Plastic parts on freezer draw handle broke on the original handle and on the replacement handle too. Ordering second $84.00 replacement handle in 5 years. Plastic part on mullion articulation assembly also broke. The mullion only has two connecting points other models have 3. Plastic trim on the bottom of the doors broke off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello and thank you for being part of the GE Appliances family! We're glad you reached out and will be happy to help. To replace the light at the top of the fresh food section, follow these instructions:
Unplug the refrigerator.
To remove the light shield, grasp the shield
at the back and pull out to release the tabs
at the back.
Rotate the shield down and then forward to
release the tabs at the front of the shield.
After replacing with an appliance bulb of
the same or lower wattage, replace the
shield.
Plug the refrigerator back in.
The part number for the light bulb is 40A15 and can be found on our parts website. Let us know if you have any more questions.
