Speed and control are terrific!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a "normal" electric smooth cooktop with this induction unit as gas wasn't an option. Turns out this is better than gas! The installation was a breeze (fit the existing cooktop opening) and this unit also uses a 30 Amp breaker. First cooking was bacon and eggs. The manual has a table guide for power settings for various cooking tasks. They nailed it! Great to cook with and FAST. Sooooo glad we finally got this. NOW we're cooking with ...induction.

some design problems for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item in Feb 2015, it works exactly as advertised, heats fast, easy install, however, I find the control panel on the small side and difficult to see, especially if you have an overhead light. I would prefer a sliding power bar rather than the push - or +. My wife and I are a little generous around the waist :) and when leaning forward to tend your pots, we may shut the whole thing off or change some settings :) I researched as much as possible and was impressed with the Bosch name , I keep shutting it off if I try to clean while cooking. A bit of a learning curve.

Like the stovetop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am used to a gas cooking. (Unable to have this in new house). I actually find this stove more sensitive to temp change than gas. Definitely better than a standard glass top stove.

Induction Seduction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced my old broken halogen cooktop with the BOSCH Induction and enjoyed it immediately. I love the precision and the quick response of temperature changes on the BOSCH Induction cooktop. My old cooktop only had 6 settings, and stayed too hot after reduction of heat. The new cooktop has 18!!
