Temperature gauge is so even and exact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a month ago for the new kitchen and I have stopped using the range in the downstairs kitchen. There is no comparison with the gas stove. It heats up as rapidly as it cools down and gives me perfect results every time. I match my pan to the burner size and it works reliably every time. Kicking it up a notch, brings it to temperature almost immediately. It is safe around children and pets and easy to keep clean. I just love this cooktop!

More Control for my Cooking!

So happy in the short month since I have owned this product. I can control the heat with this induction unit so much better than with my previous cooktops.
The shorter time to boil water is amazing. Pasta dinner on the table in 20 minutes.
I like the burner layout; it enables me to cook several things at once with different sized pans.
A great purchase!
The manual is the only thing I didn't rate as excellent. I didn't find it an "easy" read and I don't think it covers all the features very well. The cooktop, however, is excellent in every way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Workhorse

The complete and independent functionality of each cooking element including separate timers allows for simultaneous cooking at each element without fear of overcooking, or forgetting about the items. It was easy to get used to and I always look forward to preparing meals. The clean up is effortless and the cook-top always looks spotless.

Induction is the new "cooking with gas"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a electric 36" cooktop after a dozen years of service one year ago. Induction seems to be the best way to go for "results". At one time good cooks cooked with gas as the ultimate in control of the cooking service. Induction with-out a doubt is the new ultimate in control of the cooking surface. There is a lot to like about our Bosch induction cooktop. The arrangement of the five elements, easy cleanup of the glass top, a timer to turn-off the element. The quick boil feature. quiet operation. Most importantly extremely even heating of the pan from one side to the other. Unlike other induction cooktops, the Bosch unit has never had an issue recognizing the size of the pan over the element. This was (and maybe still) an issue with other leading brands.
I love to cook and our one year old Bosch cooktop has given me excellent results, An induction cooktop is a substantial investment, I do not mind spending a lot when I receive good value. Overall I am extremely pleased with the value of the cooktop and couldn't be happier with the results that come out of the pots and pans placed on this cooktop.

Cooks great but some things to consider.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed my switch to induction. We are happy with the cooktop but there are a few minor issues that I would consider if purchasing again. There is a master control for all burners. Often I will change the level on the wrong burner. I would prefer a cooktop that had dedicated controls for each burner. I also would like to have one more large hob. We never use the Auto Chef feature and still have not really figured out what it is good for.

I was leaning toward some of the higher end products such as Wolf, Miele, & Thermador. After many hours of reading through reviews & looking at different styles, I went with BOSCH! Not only did it have better reviews than the higher end products it looked nicer! My 1st time using the cooktop all I could do was smile, & I've been smiling ever since!!

Love the features on this cook top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this cooktop primarily because it was the only induction cooktop that was 40amp. I really love the features that this product has, the timer and the speed boost. We didn't buy the special pans for the auto chef yet but I have a feeling that after I use the cook top more I will most likely buy the pans.
