Overly sensitive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the cooktop, when functioning, works well, the burners are too sensitive to make truly enjoyable. Unless the pot we are using matches the burner size EXACTLY, the cooktop will shut off and error. Also, the auto shut off feature is unrealistic for cooks who enjoy a long simmer. The idea that the temperature needs to be adjusted hourly or else the cooktop shuts off makes it near impossible to leave the kitchen. When it comes time, we will not be replacing with this model again.

Cooking controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The controls to turn burners on and change temp is difficult to deal with. I think each unit should have a control located by it and then you don't accidently change a unit when you turn on another one. I had a GE induction cooktop that the controls where much better than this one.

Induction cooktop review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still learning to use the cooktop. I like its speed of heating, like the autochef. Widh that the instructions on the booklet were more complete in terms of using various cooking modes for different foods-my Bosch oven has much better material for cooking. It is also confusing about pot size, can one use a smaller pot on a bigger burner or vice versa. That information is not to be found.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this cooktop. At first it took a little getting used to cooking with induction, but once you get it it's a whole different world. Make sure to get good pans. Amazing how quickly it boils water.

Fast, Accurate Cooking Without Gas

We changed our 5-burner gas cooktop when we got a new countertop and decided to switch to electric cooking. The Bosch induction cooktop is a quality product,heats up quickly, and maintains temperature accurately. It looks beautiful in our updated kitchen and is easy to clean. The "keep warm" and "speed boost" features are nice to have.
I would recommend this to a friend!
