Great cook top... But

Works Great But Can Not Clean Burner Surface

This cooktop came with my new condo in Honolulu. It works great and I have no issues with its functionality. However, after using it 9 months now I can not get the burner surfaces clean (this was an issue after just 2 weeks). I've read the owners manual and called Bosh but they do not help with this issue. I did see another review on the Sears website for this exact cooktop that stated they to could not get the burner surface clean so I'm not the only one with this issue. I'm not new to Bosh glass cooktops. I have currently have one in my California house that I've used for 11+years. This cooktop has no cleaning issues and looks almost as good as the day it was installed. Unfortunately the cooktop in Honolulu looks terrible and worn out. This is a high end condo that I rent and so I need to replace the cooktop. Bottom line, don't buy this model. Oh, I should mention the Bosh warranty does not cover the cosmetic appearance so no warranty for this issue. See attached photos of this issue. Keep in mind I spent about 30 minutes cleaning the surface before I took this photo.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great design and functionality

Bosch versa the Competition

It was an educated decision for us to pick the NEM5066UC model and one of our best appliance decisions to boot. The quality was evident and has shown itself overtime. We will consider the Bosch brand when we have a future home requirement for any other home major appliances.
