I bought the Blueair Aware about 1 month ago. I have on 2 occasions opened all doors and windows due to indoor pollution detected by this device. Pretty cool knowing the indoor and outdoor air quality and acting on the information.

I have allergys and when I wake up in the AM, my sinuses are usually full of
mucous. I purchased the HIPPA filtered air cleaner, model 405 and it has helped
relieve this symptom. I keep in in my bedroom where I attempt to sleep 7-9 hours
a night. The concept of being able to measure and see the type of air I have in that
room when I sleep was of interest to me, so I bought the air quality monitor. It is very interesting. I can see what the quality of air is in the bedroom at any point in
time and it is also automatic. The only thing I have noted is that the only way to
decrease CO2 buildup, is to open up windows to the outside world. This filtering
system only takes particles out of the air, it doesn't reduce CO2, which can build
up in a bedroom that isn't open to clean outside air. Remember, we exhale CO2.
The whole system seems well engineered for us common folk who have some
science behind our educations.

Best Monitor Available!!!

I have several different monitors plus 2 of these Blueair Awares. These have Instant readings and love that I can view readings from phone and/or ipad remotely. With 3 cats and 2 dogs and local construction, I can adjust accordingly by opening/closing windows, up the power ionizers (My Blueair Purifiers automatically adjusts). I Just ordered another Aware. Excited. Thank you.

I received this product for free because I bought another BlueAir filter unit. I am glad I did not pay for it, and find it somewhat useless. I have it side-by-side with a Speck Air Quality Monitor. The Speck unit delivers continuous readout in ug/m3, showing a variety of air quality over a range 200-1200 ug/m3 in our great room throughout a normal day. The BlueAir Aware does nothing but flash blue, indicating excellent air quality at the same time the Speck is showing significantly elevated or moderate air quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just got this and I think it is great if not the only monitor with an app. About two months ago I read all the reviews and it talked about pollen. However, it is no longer mentioned and now the website just says allergens. A bit misleading but in general it seems to work really well and is good to get comfortable with actual levels being monitored. I had some activities such as an indoor fire and cooking and it really picks up the environment well. Very happy and bought a second. Need to add more monitoring such as pollen and specify a life and or cleaning process.

Accurate detailed information and easy to use

Accurate and easy to use. I have seasonal allergies and live in a townhouse, some neighbors smoke and pets are allowed. Purchased the unit 2 weeks ago, plugged it in, connected to Wi Fi network and got immediate results, PM 2.5 particles elevated to polluted level (over 100) and indoor humidity over 60%. Stopped using a humidifier and my air quality is much better. The Blueair Aware shows instantaneous changes in the air quality. I have the unit in my living room. If I spray a cleaner in the bathroom, turn on the highspeed blender in the kitchen, turn on the central heat, or the oven or stove have been on, the Blueair Aware shows the fluctuations in the air quality, which tells me when to ventilate the room or to increase the speed of the Blueair 455EB Air Purifier that I purchased 2 1/2 years ago.
I like how the Blueair Aware measures particles that I can't see and gases that I can't smell. I've been breathing better. I feel good knowing the quality of the air I'm breathing and what steps to take when the air quality changes. The Blueair Friend App, which is free, shows the results on my iphone of my indoor air quality and gives me readings of outside air pollution from EPA ratings. I have not learned much from the outside readings yet, but will like knowing the quality of the outside air.
I'm very impressed with the Blueair Aware and happy with my purchase!
