Hey Stef01, thank you for submitting your wall oven review. The melting point of aluminum is much lower than that of other metals. Never cover any slots, holes, or passages in the oven bottom or cover an entire oven rack with materials such as aluminum foil. Doing so blocks air flow through the oven and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Aluminum foil linings may trap heat, causing a fire hazard. Broiler pans and inserts allow dripping fat to drain away from the high heat of the broiler. Do not cover the broiler insert with aluminum foil; exposed fat and grease could ignite. Do not use aluminum foil to line oven bottom or any other part of the appliance. Only use aluminum as recommended for baking if used as a cover placed on the food. Any other use of protective liners or aluminum foil may result in a risk of electric shock or fire or a short circuit. Do not line the oven walls, racks, bottom, or any other part of the oven with aluminum foil. Doing so will alter heat distribution, produce poor baking results, and may cause permanent damage to the oven interior not covered under warranty. During self-clean temperatures, the oven will be hot enough to melt foil. Only use aluminum foil as recommended in your Owner’s Manual. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven about a month ago and love it. It is much bigger than my last oven so my pans fit nicely. The only thing I miss is a delay cooking options.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way my new oven works. Now, let me say the old one was almost 40 years old so I'm sure many advances have come along. Yet, I wanted one with two doors with the hope I could broil in the bottom one. This was the "only" one that came close. Alas, there is no second usable level and the oven is extremely narrow. It can not fit my largest cookie sheet. I think Thanksgiving time will be a big challenge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first gas oven and it works great. It heats up faster, my first time using it was for Thanksgiving dinner and it worked great. I was even happier when I found the heating area underneath the oven, any side dishes that I wanted to keep warm were left here (I was continuously watching to be sure it didn't burn) as the turkey was in the oven. Overall I am happy with the purchase. FYI this is a long oven as most electric ovens are wide.
