Reconstruction of the HTC One M8 outer case

This is the forth time I have order the HTC One M8 Defender Series case, and every time I lean over to my right the little snap that whole the phone in the case breaks off.
I have been told by Otterbox that it has been discontinued. Maybe if that snap was a little bet longer toward the bottom, it will last longer
