Tiny and Bright

I have had this Powerlight mini only a couple of days but I feel confident reviewing it already. Reason being I have been buying their products for years now and any problems I have had were dealt with very quickly and in a friendly manner. This light is much smaller and brighter than I expected. Sweet! I haven't done any field testing with it and can hardly stand the wait. Ice pellets and freezing rain going on out my window as I type. Its rated at 135 lm but seems much brighter than my regular powerlights which are rated at 200 lm. Perhaps its the light temperature of the nanogrid powerlights of which I have two sets. A much more yellow colour light than the Powerlight mini. The flash light mode of the bigger powerlight seems brighter though. Also tested it and it charges my IPhone 6 same rate as my wall adaptor. Handy when you need some phone power for emergency situations. Only thing I would have done differently is make red light dimmable. Also received a Basecamp stove for Christmas I haven't taken out of the box yet. Will review after use. I now own almost all their products including nanogrid twice. Very happy with their products and more so their mission. Here's hoping the KettleCharge I purchased when it first came out works as I have yet to try it. I won't be needing the cookstove (own campstove) but may buy the solar panel 5+ on principal just to keep supporting the mission of this great company. Thanks guys and keep the great and well designed products coming!

One of the best and most compact lights I've ever had. Way better than a lantern for camping. I highly recommend this product.

Multi-tasker

I love the light. Its flat profile and the clip make it great to clip onto a shirt, putting light where it is needed. I find this more useful than a headlamp in many situations. It has been so handy that I bought one for my son. He uses his on frequent camping trips. I use mine for early morning boat setup(I coach rowing) and for many do-it-yourself situations where more light is needed. I'd love it to be totally waterproof and able to float.

Excellent product

Let me start off by saying that I loved the product so much that I purchased a second one.
Some of the pluses....very small, very bright and very durable....besides camping I will use it on cruises as a night light.....the light lasts a long time 52 hours on low setting.
The only complaint I have is that the red light for night vision is too bright and only lasts for 12 hours

Handy well made versatile light

I receive my light a few days ago and I must say I'm impressed. Looks and feels like superior quality and a very versatile light. I can't begin to list all the possible uses for a handy little light like this, and it takes up almost no space to get in your way. You can't go wrong with this item, thats for sure..!!

Versatile Light

I haven't had a chance to take this light out on a camping trip, but I am very impressed so far how many ways you can use this light and how sturdy the construction is. I own several camping lanterns and for the size, this light puts out the most light of any of them.

Great on my evening walks.

There are some areas of our neighborhood that are away from the streetlights and downright DARK. I walk the dogs each night and in these areas it is - well - hard to spot the dog poop. Flashlight too bulky & cumbersome, headlamps just didn't cut it, BioLite PowerLight Mini to the rescue. What a perfect solution.
Can't wait to use it around the campfire, though - headlamps are so obnoxious! And I haven't tried it on my bike yet - that's where the flashers will really (pardon the pun) Shine. Do I want it in the front or the rear? So many decisions --- thanks a lot BioLite.
