The printer is very fast and print quality is great, but it is a bit noisy. The ability to scan a two sided document using the document feeder is fast with both sides of the document scanned with a single pass.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Too many issues. Tray issues. Paper doesn't get detected and it keeps saying to upload paper. Network issues. Would not recommend.

Excellent printer but poor wi-fi instructions

Works as well as the previous similar Brother printer. (15 yrs old) only MUCH faster. Very poor instructions for wi-fi hookup and air print (still haven't been able to print from my iPad, even with product support) . When copying from books, the pages catch on the frame around the glass. copying from my computer is a snap, with the supplied program or Mac "capture" application.

Used this product for years in our law firm. When it came to upgrade to newer models, we purchased several of this model type. Within the week of use, two of them were spitting toner and print documents fully gray. All of the models are defective in SCAN settings set-up. The first day I used one, it was great. After that, nothing but problems. I would not recommend this printer.
