Don't buy it for the Apps

The television has a great Picture . If you are interested in the Apps or the Web browser then you will be disappointed. The apps are very limited mostly all are pay services. The web browser crashes on any type of flash content which is everywhere these days. As far as additional content goes, even Vizio is light years ahead of sharp in this department. That being said if you are looking for an 80" TV with 3d then this is the only game in town.

Pure visual enjoyment

This television truly delivers when it comes to visual enjoyment ranging from the colors and smoothness of the images displayed to the mind jolting 3-D effects created. Older DVD movies are brought to life when watched on the Quattron, while Blu-Ray movies appear better than they did at the movie theaters.
The only drawback that I have experienced is that for the past two get togethers that we have hosted, the majority of our company seems to move to the theater room and plant themselves in front of the Quattron with smiles on their faces and enjoyment in their eyes.
