Great upgrade!

Way faster and smoother than the previous 7" model. The resolution and display is also way better. I love the sound Equalizer, especially with headphones! Also the style and the format is much better. It's easy to navigate without having a lot of icons in the way. (The notifications and the task bar are HUGE pluses.)
One huge problem is that I am unable to transfer files, (not using a PC), but fortunately there's Dropbox for that. Another problem is using the file manager, the search never works.
Overall it is a great product and a significant upgrade from the previous model, for a great value. I would definitely recommend it.

This product exceeded this first time tablet user's expectations

Actually printed all 221 pages off the computer of the manual. Great to have a paper copy. Thus far setup and charge up has been flawless. This is a " learn as I go" project. I am very happy with the android respose time. and increased size, compared to my 2G android phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight, quich response time
Cons: possibly offer the print copy of manual for purcha

Great tablet, 7" small, lightweight and great display qualities. Can read books, browse the web, etc with no difficulties for an extended period of time due to its lightweightness.

This device has exceeded my expectations on every level. The 7 inch form factor is really easy to hold. All my note taking is digital now.
I now find myself reaching for the Tab instead of my phone for Android fun. I honestly use it more than my desktop PC at home to surf the web, read, research and play games.
I definitely will be buying more Samsung tablets in the future.

For the price I am very happy with the features and performance of this tab have had half the features andquarter the performance on more expensive so called tablet bricks

Greatly Exceeded My Expectation

Bought the Galaxy Tab 7 2.0 wanting to catch up on technology to keep up with my adult kids. At the same time I wanted the device to be useful to me. I'm totally delighted with my purchase. Here's what I like:
1) 7" size is just right for my taste not too big to carry around and not too small for my old eyes to see. Display is excellent; movies are better than my HD TV and I can read for hours on the tablet.
2) Have no problem getting a full days use out of the battery and the Wi-Fi is very sensitive.
3) Here's what I can do that I really like: Get Kindle books for free from Google and the public library. Get epub book formats for free from the public library, et al. Watch Netflix videos. Stay up with the news in commercial free apps like BBC and Yahoo news sites. TED videos are wonderful. Video-talk to my kid's smart phones just as if I was using a smart phone (as long as I have Wi-Fi). Listen to tons of radio and music choices. Listen to all music content on my desktop computer. And of course email and web browse.

Cons: can't use auto brightness mode (too dark), don't buy for the camera
