I am not a techy person but I am very glad that I did get this tablet. It does all I need it to do ( and I am sure that there is much more that it does that I haven't even found out about yet!). It is easy to handle and is very good quality. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
This was a great value for the money, the best in fact, prior to the release of the Nexus 7. I still feel that the expandable storage makes this a worthwhile purchase. I've loved the ease of use, quickness of the ui, and the overall design.
The only negative i have is that i would prefer to be able to uninstall some of the features that come preinstalled, mainly the pay for apps Samsung ones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, full google play market
Cons: samsung and google bloat that cannot be removed

Sleek, light and has great computing power but has no ability to install apps to ext SD without root. A little upsetting considering I would have purchased a different tab if I had known. Very satisfied with the overall performance but the internal fills up quick.
I have had my new Galaxy for a couple of weeks now and have had a little fun learning how to get the programs running. I am not really savy on all of the new technologies out on the market today but I like to muddle around and see how dumb I am and the ease of operating the Galaxy made me feel kind of smart because it it so easy to get the programs going and to set up things like Email, games and the music, finding web sites for news and other entertainmentis reletively fast also. The clearity of the screen and the amazing sound of the tiny speakers is really good.
In my opinion the Galaxy Tab 2 easily accomplishes what it says it can and in spots even exceeds a bit.
replacing my droid x2 as my tools for work and my toys for playing and entertainment. Since I'm almost always within wifi when I need or want to use a feature needing internet connections there wasn't a need to buy a 3g/4g contract tablet.
I save money having the Galaxy Tab 2 handle just about everything except pure basic cell phone voice calls.maybe some minor txting.
In WiFi tho text messages are simple to both send and receive. Even voice calls or VoIP apps are useable and strai9ght forward enough like with messaging tho you do need WiFi, and Bluetooth headset needed for full VoIP (talking needs additional accessories)
