We received our Galaxy Tab 2 from my husband's boss for a Christmas present. I LOVE IT!! Being a stay at home mom of 4, one of which is a new baby, I have a hard time finding the time to get on the computer to keep family and friends updated on how we're doing, and share pics. This tablet allows me to do that. I can sit and nurse the baby while still browsing the web and uploading photos. The display is beautiful! The camera takes better pics than our digital camera does, and it's so much easier to upload them. I love that I can add memory by using an SD card, and that there are tons of apps available for download for me, my husband, and the kids!! This tablet is a definite must buy!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, takes great pictures, video chat
I like this little tablet ALOT, especially for what I paid for it

For what I paid for it, I can't believe what I got, the value is incredible. So far the only thing I am a little disappointed in is that you have to have a Samsung printer to print from it...bah humbug. But that is the only fault I can find with it so far, granted I have only had it since the 14th and today is the 16th, but I have played with it a lot and I like it ALOT!! Screen is so clear, its fast and responsive, have read some complaints on the battery life before purchasing, but have not found that to be true at all. I also have the screen set on the brightest setting too. To get into a tablet for what I paid and it to be this awesome, I feel very lucky!! I have an android phone already, so am familiar with that format . If you are considering it, go for it!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fits in my purse, bought car charger to take with me in vehicle
I bought this looking for something to take on the go to play games, read, and watch videos. This product did it all wonderfully. It is lightweight and easy to carry around. The only problem I have is that the charging cord became frayed and broke apart. I called customer service and the gentleman on the phone order me a new one with no hassle.
I own the samsung galaxy s3 and wanted a tablet as well, so i purchased the tab 7" and i am very happy with it but it would be nice to be able to ad the swipe feature for the keyboard !
I picked up a Tab for a road trip so I could get online to check email and other stuff. The tab can take a little getting used to it. The touch typing can be "touchie" using fingers. It comes with a lot of built in apps you can disable if you don't use them but you can't delete them. There are all sorts of other apps you can install also thru the app store. I recommend getting an external storage memory card and be sure to change the settings so you store your stuff on it otherwise the internal memory space will get filled up pretty quickly. Battery life is less than a day which I believe is typical for tablets in general. You should also get a case/stand for the unit to make life easier. Overall I do like the Galaxy Tab2 7.0. I still wonder if I should have shelled out an extra hundred and got a cheap laptop!
