Original Galaxy Tab has better camera...

I own an original Galaxy Tab 7" wifi and the new Galaxy Tab 2 7" wifi, and honestly, I have to say the old one is better in almost every respect.
Pros:
*The GTab 2 is lighter, faster, thinner, and has slightly louder speakers.
*Runs Android 4.0 and the screen is very pretty.
*Has all the features you'd expect... with one glaring exception (See below).
*Since it has a newer version of Android, it works with Bluetooth keyboards and HID devices.

Cons:
*The camera is horrible compared to the old one. It doesn't auto-focus, has no flash, has worse resolution, and you can't use it to scan barcodes (which I did a lot with my old GTab). I loved using the flash LED as a flashlight, too... works so much better than using the whole screen. I wish they would have left the camera alone, I would have paid the money for it.
*The WiFi antenna is situated so that if you hold it upright with your left hand, WiFi reception is almost nothing. Hold it with the other hand (on the other side), it works perfectly. Why is it like this? The old GTab never did this.
*When connected to a non-Windows computer, it won't let you connect as USB storage. Very frustrating, I can't just plug it in and copy files to it like my old one.
*The auto-dim screen feature seems to always make it darker than it needs to be. I'm always finding myself turning auto-dim off because I just can't read the screen. Old one wasn't like this.

Products I purchased are great for my family!
We have the phones (galaxy3) and tablet(galaxytab2) they work well.Definetly reccomend them!

Great Tablet in an easy to carry size

I am truly enjoying this tablet. I waited a long time to get one and this one made the wait worth it. My only gripe is that Flash is not supported.

MY KIDS LOVE THIS TABLET. WE WERE GOING TO BUY A I-POD MINI TABLET BUT WHEN THE SALESMAN AT BEST BUY SHOWED US THIS PRODUCT WE WERE SOLD ON IT. IT WAS PRICED LOWER AND HAD MORE OPTIONS THAN THE MINI I-POD. WE WILL BE BUYING 2 MORE ONE FOR MYSELF AND ONE FOR MY WIFE. YOU MUST CHECK THIS OUT BEFORE PURCHASING ANY OTHER TABLET, TRUST ME.... Outstanding Tablet

After owning another Tablet from another company, I felt that their product was too limited and was nothing more than an overpriced video player. I traded in my old Tablet and received a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. So far, it’s been a great machine and exceeded my expectations. It costs far less than the other Tablet and so far, packs the best multimedia capabilities of any tablet on the market.

This product does what I need it to do

This is my first tablet and I mainly use it to read books and surf the net. I have played a game or two on it and it does fine. For some reason it is having an issue with one of its updates but it might be rooted, I am not sure because I am not the original owner.
