I like the tablet and it's my first. I don't even have a smartphone and the technology is quite new to me. Easy to learn, although I'd prefer the tablet to come with more paper instructions and guidebook. Charger/ USB cord is rather short and I had to buy a new one. Also I bought a microSD card to improve storage capacity but it is difficult/ impossible to load apps onto the storage card. Android OS uses a lot of the tablet's RAM while having a reasonable number of Apps running using a lot of RAM. The battery could be better.
However it is still a good tablet and I enjoy it.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, short battery life, short usb cord, not enough ram
Was happy with the Vibrant phone so naturally went with the Galaxy 3 when it was time to upgrade. But the Tab 2 allows me to more comfortably read books and emails, as well as post on social media apps. It's light weight and can easily be held by one hand.
I wasn't sure about getting the Galaxy Tab but I decided to do it and I am glad. This tablet is excellent for my needs: reading, email, web surfing, YouTube, and causal games. This might not be a top of the line android tablet but it gets the job done and is not expensive :)
