Very user friendly easy to begin and add apps, easy to use settings and lightweight fits in my purse and the battery life is about 6 hours..

I have tried other brand name tablets and this one outranks them all. I couldn't be happier. The graphics, speed and functionality of this product have me hooked. Everything I could ever want and more!

AFTER PURCHASE SAMSUNG REMOVED FRONT SCREENSHOT KEY

One big reason I decided on this 7 inch tablet was the up front screenshot. Now that I've purchased it, you auto download a new software version that removes this function. The two button approach is very inconvenient, I feel I've been robbed. If the front button isn't restored, how can I be sure something similar won't happen again with another samsung product? I can't, so Samsung would be ruled out immediately on any future product purchases. Look at all the complaints on the web- you've disappointed a huge number of buyers- please make this right, issue an update to restore front button screenshots.

Excellent Small Form-Factor Tablet

I just purchased one of these tablets; plan to purchase one more, as they are late Christmas/early birthday gifts for my two nieces; 12 & 13 yr olds. Recently, they lost their grandma a few weeks before the holidays & have been taking it hard. I got them these in place of laptops which I think they aren't quite old enough for that level of tech responsibility. These tablets were the next best thing.
They both know how to use Android already via using their mother's Android phones over the past couple years. So they'll ease into this tablet perfectly. Nice array of features; camera, video, social networking apps, & games ... will be perfect for their internet browsing needs, entertainment, & much more.
I do wish they would make it easier to connect to Macs as that is the platform I utilize. But their mom has a PC laptop, so that should suffice I suppose. And I wish it was easier to install apps onto the microSD card; attempting to do so via numerous online searches hehe. Tedious task on that bit.
All in all, for a very affordable, functional, sleek & stylish, well-powered small form tablet ... this is a great choice. Get one ;)

This is a poor design.

Bottom plug of the 30pin type is bad, most people rest the bottom on their bellies or chest, so plug will go bad. Also its a 30 PIN PLUG. Why cant it be more universal.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad plug design, 30 pin plug

We had purchased several Tablets before and was always left wanting and wishing for more. We have found everything we was looking for in a Tablet with the Galaxy Tab 2. It keeps everyone in the family happy from the little ones up to my spouse the tech savvy geek. Can't beat it for the price!!
