First of all, the picture is not accurate. The real product does not have a speaker slit on the front; however, seeing as how this difference has absolutely no bearing on the overall product performance, I am very pleased with it. I have almost completely replaced my laptop with this tablet and carry it with me everywhere.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good Basic Tablet

First, the downsides of the tablet: -It only has 8 GB of RAM, and half of that is taken by the bloatware Samsung has installed on the tablet, and cannot be removed. -The cameras are horrible. The front-facing camera is VGA resolution and guaranteed to make you look bad in video chat, and the rear facing camera is 3 megapixels and fixed focus, so things like bar code scanners won't work with it. There is no flash or assistive light. Basically, if you ever think you want to use the camera for anything, buy something else. -There is no indicator LED on the tablet, for notifications or charging status or anything else. -Finding cases for it is tough. -Some applications don't work too well, as they assume a bigger screen. -Doesn't support larger MicroSD cards, only HC. -The connector is proprietary, so you can't use standard USB variants to charge it. -No HD out, even through the docking connector. -No 5 GHz WiFi. -Bluetooth compatibility issues with SPP class 0 devices.
Here are the upsides: +In build quality, comparing it to the only other 7" tablet on the market, for the same price you get a thinner and lighter tablet that feels vastly better. The Samsung is really well built, the materials are nice to the touch, and it's comfortable to hold. +It's fairly responsive (unless you load it up with apps). +The screen is nice, and the touch interface works well. +I've been satisfied with the battery life. +It's very good value for the money.
Cons: bad cameras, no dual-band wifi, bluetooth problems, low memory consumed by bundled apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just needs a "little" tweaking to be perfect.

Perfect size for road biking. Easy to type in horizontal or vertical modes. The proprietary software is SLOW, but fortunately laptop directly to SD card transfer is accurate and works beautifully. Movies are beautiful on this screen and an external set of mini speakers give an amazing sound. I would love to remove some of the bloatware loaded on the tablet but that can come in the future. If you're looking for a small tablet for a pannier or seat pack, you really can't beat this tablet.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fits in seat pack, not specific to any one cell provider
Cons: bloatware control

I received it as a gift. My best friend has the other Galaxy Tab and I fell in love with his. I have downloaded a book and enjoy all the features. I would recommend it to others.
This is my second 7 inch Galaxy Tab, bought because of the upgrade in processor horsepower and Android 4. These marvelous little tablets are great book readers, good for Google Maps with a MiFi in the car, and all around useful for email, internet browsing and playing games. The presence of two cameras and GPS are very helpful. All told, a great little tablet for general all round use.
Outstanding product and very user friendly. Product is well worth the money.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I wanted something to use when traveling and for quick web access around the house like IMDB, sports scores, etc. I have used an iPad on many occasions and it is just too big to use comfortably. The 7" size of this tablet workes perfectly for my needs. It also has the other features I was looking for such as bluetooth and GPS. I wish it had an option to keep the display on when charging as I would like to use it as my nightstand alarm clock but there are apps I can download for that. Also I have to clear the RAM occasionally to fix sluggish performance but I'm reasonable certain that is the result of apps I have downloaded, not the tablet itself. All things considered I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone seeking a solid product at a good price.
