Good Basic Tablet

First, the downsides of the tablet:
-It only has 8 GB of RAM, and half of that is taken by the bloatware Samsung has installed on the tablet, and cannot be removed.
-The cameras are horrible. The front-facing camera is VGA resolution and guaranteed to make you look bad in video chat, and the rear facing camera is 3 megapixels and fixed focus, so things like bar code scanners won't work with it. There is no flash or assistive light. Basically, if you ever think you want to use the camera for anything, buy something else.
-There is no indicator LED on the tablet, for notifications or charging status or anything else.
-Finding cases for it is tough.
-Some applications don't work too well, as they assume a bigger screen.
-Doesn't support larger MicroSD cards, only HC.
-The connector is proprietary, so you can't use standard USB variants to charge it.
-No HD out, even through the docking connector.
-No 5 GHz WiFi.
-Bluetooth compatibility issues with SPP class 0 devices.

Here are the upsides:
+In build quality, comparing it to the only other 7" tablet on the market, for the same price you get a thinner and lighter tablet that feels vastly better. The Samsung is really well built, the materials are nice to the touch, and it's comfortable to hold.
+It's fairly responsive (unless you load it up with apps).
+The screen is nice, and the touch interface works well.
+I've been satisfied with the battery life.
+It's very good value for the money.

Great Product for the price

First of all, the picture is not accurate. The real product does not have a speaker slit on the front; however, seeing as how this difference has absolutely no bearing on the overall product performance, I am very pleased with it. I have almost completely replaced my laptop with this tablet and carry it with me everywhere.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great product except for one thing.

I like this tablet very much. It's fast, lightweight, runs ICS. Very responsive to touch inputs.
The only thing I don't like is the WiFi is very weak. My old 10.1 had no problems picking up the WiFi in my house or at work. The WiFi on this one cuts out a lot to the point where I had to add a WiFi range extender to my home network.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: weak wifi

Samsung galaxy tab 2

I love this tablet. I used to have the Archos 80 G9, which was a good tablet. I eventually cracked the screen on it accidentally (long story). So, I decided to get the galaxy tab. They are more popular and people know more about them than the Archos.
Pros:
Fast, especially transitioning from portrait to landscape views on the screen (this is more efficient on the galaxy tab than on the archos).

Bluetooth, which I love.
Microphone.
Dual facing cameras, which is really nice seeing as how I only had one front facing camera with the archos.
Inexpensive for the quality

Compact, yet powerful. This tablet is one of the few tablets I know of that comes with a Texas Instruments dual core processor, which from what I've heard is more powerful than the more popular Tegra processors found in the acer iconia and asus transformer.

Easy to find accessories.
Nice screen resolution for being a 7", 16:9 aspect ratio.
Good quality speakers. Not quite as good as the Archos I previously owned, but still good.
Great battery life, better than the archos.
Cons:
When I got the tablet, they advertised that it came with 8GBs of hard drive space. For some reason I only have about 4.5Gbs to use of my own, and on my last tab (The Archos) It came with 6Gbs usable. This isn't a huge problem, but its just sort of annoying.
Keyboard; the keyboard in landscape mode is sort of scrunched height-wise for my finger size. I just stick to portrait to type and it works relatively well. I'm considering getting a Bluetooth keyboard, which is yet another reason why I like Bluetooth.
That's basically about it for the bad areas of this device. It really suits my needs well and does a good job of multitasking.

Awesome tablet

This was purchased to replace an ipod and kindle fire from being carried around all the time. The battery life on it does really well on it, will get at least a days worth of use while out doing things, I regularly charge my devices over night. I have yet to find anything about it that has not been an upgrade from the devices it was purchased to replace.

I really like this tablet

I think this is a great tablet with a lot of great features. The picture is sharp and clear, the sound quality is really good, the size is just right. The only negative thing I would have to say about it is that I am unable to move any of my apps to the SD card. I was able to do this on my older model Samsung with an App2SD application, but have not been able to find any way to move apps on this tablet. Other than that, it is a really great tablet.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, good size
Cons: can't transfer anything from tablet to sd card
