Waited years for a tablet like this.

I researched many tablets from all manufacturers and read thousands of reviews. Most of them had significant reasons not to buy them and to wait for better things to come. And have they came. This tablet does everything I have ever wanted a tablet to do; from games, office, entertainment, pictures, gps navigation, and many other features I have yet to discover. I can give it no cons simply because I researched this product extensively before I bought it, and I use it as a tablet. It is not a phone, it doesn't fit in a pocket, but it does everything and more than I could ask from my other similar fruit produces.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, stable, great apps
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had this handy little unit for a few weeks and I must say it's better than I expected. This is my first tablet so I can't compare this to any others, but I can compare it to the laptop it replaced. I used my laptop to browse the web, listen to music, and view vids. If you need something for these tasks and more, this is the kit for you! Of course it can't replace the processing power of a high-end laptop, but if you need that kind of power then buy a Series 9. This is perfect for sittin' in the bed or the couch and staying connected to the outside world. Straight out the box this unit has worked perfect, no glitches, crashes or hang-ups. Wifi signal is strong throughout the house and it even picks up outdoors. The Peel remote app was an added bonus that made me love this thing even more. I also purchased the book cover and both seem well made. I'm sure this unit will last until I decide to replace it with another Samsung product. Kudos to Samsung for making my first tablet experience a homerun. Now I'm waiting on the Galaxy SIII, I need a US release date!

Cons: speakers not stereo in landscape

Still having a few problems learning how to use this thing... No instructions with the tablet.... 233 pages online. Gift from my hubby... he is amazed at the volume on the speakers.
I just can't seem to put it down.... This is the first time I have been on my laptop computer in a week...
Great Product.
Only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are still too many things for my old mind to figure out. I am 63..

I am so pleased with this device. The speed at which it operates is well advanced of it's specification and proves that the devices is highly optimized for hardware and software-wise.
The one detraction is the Samsung "TouchWiz" interface. I would love it even more if it were simply a pure Android 4.0 device.
For the price, there is simply nothing that compares for the user experience that you get. Thank you, Samsung!

Great tablet with a great price

This is my first tablet and I think it was a great choice. The tablet gives me the ability to do some things that my phone would do but on a larger screen and what appears to be more fluid. The apps I am used to are better due to the screen size increase. If you need a solid performing tablet, the Galaxy is the way to go, not to big, not to small and lots of power!

I Love This Tablet

It has taken the place of my laptop and phone when I am on the road or at home. I am still learning all the great apps that come from the app store. I use the translators to speak and learn Spanish....where were you 40 years ago. It is an extension of my hand and mind now. My only con would be that I do need to charge it every day but that is a small one.price to pay. Music, books and movies WOW
