I love this thing! It does everything I want it to do and then some! The power and speed of the processor is exceptional and it never seems to be slow on any operation. ICS is the most powerful Android yet and this Galaxy Tab 2 takes full advantage of it. The features are excellent for the price although it would be even nicer if the camera resolution was better, but 3MP works fine for most pictures I take with it. The sound quality out of the tiny speakers is amazing and the mic works great for any communications needs I have with both Skype and Echolink (a HAM radio app). I am completely satisfied and recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a nice portable tab at a great price.
I've been looking at tablets for months, but just didn't want to take a complete financial bloodbath to pick one up. Tried some "budget" Android tablets, but they were spec'ed very low and performance was usually miserable. Then I ran across this little tablet. Dual core, I gb ram, ICS, IR blaster and the price point was perfect! I've had it for almost a month now and I'm still finding cool little things to do with it. Bout the only nit I have to pick is the auto screen brightness seems a bit agressive. Other than that, it's been fantastic. Love watching movies on it, when I'm not using it to control everything in my media room. Nice job, Samsung.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, ir blaster!
First, I appreciate the size. It easily fits in my purse. I love having two cameras as well. I am not a wiz with computers but it is simple enough for this housewife. Lastly, the price was right!
A 7 inch tablet is a great gap filler between a cell phone and a laptop, and this one is much smoother than others that I have seen. Its great for sitting on the couch or in bed and catching up on email, reading the news, or reading an ebook.
Wow.. can't believe I've totally fallen in love with my Galaxy Tab 2 so quickly.. I'd been weary because I'd heard Android tablets and phones weren't very user-friendly.. but quite contrary to that it has been AWESOME!!
I own both 10.1 and tab 2 7.0. when I get my tab 10.1, I loved it very much. however, after a few weeks I realized its getting laggy too often. I tried to turning off app that I'm not using, lowered cpu usage, cleared most of junk apps, but it would not solve the problem. only thing I could do was rebooting it and after a reboot it would go back to snappy tab. (other option is getting other UI launchers from the google play.) I'm having same problem with 7.0. other then this issue, it is best afforable and snappy tablet out there.
