Sound is horrible

Great picture and nice features. However, the sound from the speakers is unacceptable. I own several plasma/lcd tv's and the this tv's sound is the only one that is so tinny, it hurts your ears. So much for brand loyalty. Maybe there will be a software upgrade to help with the audio
Pros: picture quality, features
Cons: sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This LED screen is awesome, it works perfectly, the picture is clear and sharp. No issues after 6 months of use.

Audio Sync Problems

The display is incredible, which is what lead this household to purchase this TV over Samsung, however, I have noticed that the audio sync has become increasing horrible with a lag of 2-3 seconds with many video games that utilize the HDMI cables. At first I thought it was the cables, which was replaced twice. Then I thought it was the system itself, but that was not the case since we own two PS3s and several video game systems. The only fix we have come up with is to turn off the TV or switch the inputs via the remote and then back again.
Pros: awesome display, great resolution, vivid colors
Cons: horrible sound

Horrible sound

As an owner of two Aquos LCD tv's I thought it would be a no brainer that this LED tv would perform as well as its predecessor. NOT EVEN CLOSE. The picture quality is almost as good and the sound quality is almost unacceptable. I'm now having to look into a sound bar because we can't stand to listen to it. I wouldn't recommend this tv to anyone.

Bad TV for gaming

Im from Mexico and i buy this model in November 2012 exclusive to play XBOX 360 but the input lag is horrible!! My settings are:
TV
Source: Graphics
Game Mode
XBOX
1080p or 720p or less (480p)
Nothing reduce the input lag...this tv looks great in movies but not for games. I try to sell but nobody is interesting.
Please! Fix the input lag...this tv need a new Firmware.
P.D. The Sound is horrible...my solution? I buy a new soundbar Bos%u00e9. The input lag solution? You are the experts.

Great tv for the price - with sound caveat

First I agree with everyone that the sound is horrible with this tv. But I had planned to use it with my 5:1 audio system as I had with its predecessor -- a Samsung which also had lacking sound.
The picture is good after adjustment and I've not had any problem at all with the Smart apps working properly. The wireless setup was seamless and quick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Smart

I've been through four of these in six months and none of them performed like a vetted product should. The image is inferior through the smart component compared to outside sources. Outside streaming content devices and DVD attached devices constantly lose connection in any port and are thus unwatchable. When I rewind in NetFlicks using the smart component it freezes and the unit must be rebooted to restore operation severely limiting watch-ability. All of this was consistent on all four units.

Horrible for Gaming.

Beautiful picture but don't get this TV until the game lag is fixed. 150 millisecond lag in Rockband and about a half to full second input lag when playing First Person Shooters.
Sound is very poor on this TV, I had to buy a sound bar to improve the sound quality.
Lag is slightly noticeable when watching TV as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
