The case works great, does what it is supposed to do. I like the headphone jack and charging port covers, which add another level of protection from drops and makes it harder for water to get there too. Only thing is I didn't quite put my screen protector on properly, but I guess that's my bad.

I studied many possible cases for my phone. The Otterbox Commuter series protector for my Motorola Moto E 2nd generation was a worthwhile investment to protect the phone and make it easier to handle; without adding excessive bulk. The interface of the case buttons (volume, on-off, etc.) to the device work flawlessly. The flaps for power and ear buds are a little cumbersome due to the hard shell that installs over the rubber case; but protect these ports well. It would have been nice to receive an extra screen protector (product ships with one static screen protector). My wife also bought one after seeing mine and is pleased with it.

I'm extremely pleased with my new OtterBox phone case... It's lightweight... good looking... and easy to install (BTW... It's even easier to remove if you ever need to replace the battery or access the SD card)... I got an excellent deal on my purchase and shipping and it arrived within days of me placing my order... Love It! If you're shopping for a new phone case there's no need to look any further... I would definitely recommend the OtterBox... Did I mention I purchased the purple/lavender case... The Moto E has a nice curved shape and the first case I got for it turned it into a brick. In addition, that case made the buttons flush with the edge of the case so finding buttons by feel was impossible and I was constantly hitting a button by mistake. My Otterbox case preserves the nice curves of the phone. In addition, the buttons are obvious by feel - no pressing a button by mistake and when I pick up the phone I can immediately tell where the buttons are. The little covers for the power and audio jacks are a nice touch. I would have liked a more vibrant color, but the second generation of Moto-E is pretty new, perhaps Otterbox will expand their offerings for it at a later date.

I purchased 2 Commuter Cases for my wife and I. (Moto E's 2nd gen) They fit beautifully. One screen protector was bent upon arrival. Otter Customer Service was exceptional and sent a replacement. The screen protector does seem cheap. We applied them as instructed, only to have bubbles under the protector. Trying to scrape the bubbles out with the included tool left scratch marks on the protecting film. Overall, it's a great investment to protect our phones, minus the screen protector. Pair up the case with a valuable screen protector and you have quality.
