I bought my pressure canner and cooker in 2010. It has worked perfectly all these years, but now it has leaks around the seal ring. I have no complaints about the design or the performance of my canner. I have never used the pressure cooker. I will recommend Presto canner to any of my friends.

It is no problem to conserve acid groceries like tomatoes or food containing pepper with conventional boiling water "Weck" method.
However, when it comes to slightly basic food like legumes, then a pressure canner is absolutely neccessaty.
Since I use my presto canner, not a single mason jar got spoiled :-)

Love this brand for pressure canning.
This size is better for doing quarts. Double stacking the points is better in the larger one.
