My hard earned super expensive TV ruined

I literally can copy the last reviewers post because the same exact thing has happened to my TV it no longer works.. My tv was working completely fine. I wanted to use to evolution kit to get the new interface and a better experience of the newer versions. I followed all the instruction on how to install the kit. As soon as I turned on my tv it started turning on and off on its own. After some time the screen completely went black. The tv still gets power and I can see the red light blink but there is no picture whatsoever on the screen. The backlight is completely off and the red light keeps resetting. I am so disappointed using Samsung product for years. First the note and now this. My tv was working until I used this product.
I loved Samsung, we have bought so many of their products. I am sure those days are over now. this was the last straw.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Caused F8000 to go into a reboot loop

Added this to my F8000 and it worked great for a couple days and then all of a sudden my TV was doing a constant reboot loop. Tried to remove the EK and got an error saying you must remove the EK form settings before unplugging. Well, I couldn't do that because as soon as I plugged the EK back in the TV went into a reboot loop again. Got a replacement form Amazon and it did the same thing. I ended up buying a new main board from samsungparts.com and repairing it myself at great expense. Google "SEK-3000 reboot loop" and you will find a lot of others having the same experience. I do NOT recommend anyone buying this.

Downgrade rather than an upgrade

Save yourself the money and time. I bought this evolution kit hoping that I would get an upgrade on my tv but it turned out to be a big disappointment. My tv was working completely fine.
