It's Otter - so it does the best job in protecting your phone.
The logo is not the one shown (interlocking NY), rather it is the red, white and blue top hat and bat inside a baseball with Yankees written across. Very nice. Thought it was strange that the hard plastic case was black and the skin navy blue - wish they were both navy blue.
The first Defender Otter Box I purchased for this phone (while waiting for the Yankees) had a rubber cover for home button - this one does not. That cover would help protect it further - that is a disappointment.

The only thing that I would change is the where you button on the lower face of the iPhone screen. Not sure if I like that. I had a previous defender series that had the rubber that filled the spot and really protected that button on the phone. Other than that I really like this case.

The Otter box is a fine product and one I would recommend to others except for one caveat: It is the dickens to remove.
Its design is unfortunately flawed because it should not take 3-5 times as long to remove it as it takes to put it on. Please do something about it, otherwise, for this reason alone I can't readily recommend it.
The number of "how to remove it" pages that come up following a search online is an example of the problem.

Broken holster and faded logo

I was very excited on Father's Day when my boys purchased a Cubs Otterbox for my iPhone. After using it for two days the holster broke, which Otterbox did fix by sending a new one. Now using my case for a month the logo on the outside of the case is so faded it looks like I have had it for years. The process used to print the logo on the outside is not durable enough to withstand everyday use. What once was a brilliant display of my loyalty to my favorite team is now faded (just like our hopes to ever win a World Series). i understand that overtime and repeated use a product will start to show wear but I am disappointed that this is so visible in just a month of use.

Cons: Low quality

This otterbox is so hard to get open to put your phone into to begin with, but this also means it is very well protected. The screen protector fits amazingly (was worried), however dust gets caught between the screen protector and the screen and it is bothersome, especially because getting the case off is such a hassle. The biggest compliant with this case is that the red of the Boston B started to fade immediately and looks more pink. A problem because this case was purchased as a gift for a man who does not like pink at all haha.
