Great fridge with a few cons

We had this installed recently so I cannot comment on its reliability. This is the cheapest 48" in the market and it is a GE. It is silent and very efficient. Ice is accessible from inside. Water dispenser is tall enough to fit your water bottles, much better than competitors' dispensers. Some people say it spreads ice all over the place, but we did not experience that. I also has a large enough drip tray. The doors can be adjusted to stop at 90 degrees and you can still use the shelves conveniently.
Now what I am not happy about is the silly whistling noise coming from the bottom of the fridge when dispensing water. I have seen similar reviews so I do not think it is a defect. Also the water dispenser tube is very narrow so relatively slower flow compared to our previous fridges.
While it is not that bad, it still holds fingerprints around but really not much that you would get them all over the place
I would recommend this to a friend!

It’s too loud and the water dispenser leaks. There is no designated area for a butter dish.

This is the first side by side with water and ice maker. Love it. Freezer section a little smaller than expected due to ice maker. The doors make a squeak sound so will have to get that looked at.

Hot spots on the refrigerator side

The upper shelf of the refrigerator is 15 degrees warmer than the lower shelves. When I open the door, I can feel the heat pouring in from the top. The three lower drawers hit the door unless it's opened and the bottom drawer only opens when the door is completely opened. All of the drawers get stuck when I try to open them. There wasn't any door shelf that can hold a gallon of milk and because of the heat issue we've and to put our beverages on the lower shelf to keep them cold. The freezer section is dark compared to the refrigerator section.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loud and slow water dispenser

Keeps food cold and has special drawer for meat

Lots of storage. It keeps the food cold and has a special drawer for meat. I like all the shelves and am very happy with it. The only thing is, the ice dispenser literally flies ice out so make sure your cup is held high close to the hole where the ice comes out or it may fly pass your cup.
