It replaces a 20 year old fridge and it was only one of a few that would fit in the existing cabinet opening.

We finally decided to update our appliances and all I can say is we should have done it sooner. The new built in fridge feels so much bigger then our old one!

Replaced a 17-year old Subzero that met its demise

We are very happy with the GE fridge; did not want to pay more $$ for a Subzero name to get a comparable fridge. One nice feature is the crushed ice option on the door dispenser. Our Subzero just offered cubes, with the water. Interior lighting is so much nicer than old school.

We purchased this unit to replace an old built-in unit in our newly purchased home. We've never purchased a refrigerator at this price, but it is well worth it. Both the freezer and the refrigerator sides are roomy. The climate controlled crisper drawers keep vegetables longer than any refrigerator we've had before. Water and ice dispensers are great. Easy to program.
