Indestructible Phone!

Thought I would write a review and let you know how tough your phone is. I left my Nexus on the back of my wife's car and she drove away with it on the bumper. 10 minutes later I realized it and trailed her route in my car. I found it in the middle of a very busy street, laying in 3 pieces (phone, battery, and back). It had fell of her car and was run over at least once by another car. I put it back together and it turned on immediately and works flawlessly! Unbelievable. The picture attached shows how bad it got crushed. This is one heck of a well-made product!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Very happy with my Galaxy Nexus LTE

I had been wanting a Nexus phone since the Nexus One came out in early 2010. I was on Sprint at the time, and Google and Sprint announced they were teaming up to release the phone by early summer 2010, same as Verizon, but neither happened. Instead, other devices were released and the Nexus One was canned. The next Nexus was only available with fixed memory storage at 16 GB, and I needed more than that, plus, again being on Sprint, it came out many months after it had dropped on the 2 major US GSM networks. Then the rumors started flying around suggesting that the Nexus for 2011 would sport a much larger screen, dual-core processors, and be able to capture video at up to 1080p, the first Nexus to be able to capture video in high definition. When it was formally announced that Verizon was getting it, which was soon after Verizon had announced they were flipping the switch on LTE in my city and in most parts of my state, I immediately jumped ship. It is the fastest phone I have ever used. It's smooth, fluid animations are a vast improvement over previous Nexus models, and games and other multimedia content look absolutely amazing on the screen. Seeing as how this is a CDMA/LTE model, I am hoping VZW, Google, and Samsung Mobile USA will continue to support the device (in a timely fashion) by pushing out patches and updates to the software for some time to come. I usually don't keep my cellphones, as I usually opt to sell them to use the money I get to "subsidize" the cost of paying full price for a new phone. But I love this device so much, I'm going to probably always hold on to it, and use it as a back-up phone in the event I end up getting something different to replace it. I used to buy a new phone like every 3-4 months, but I highly recommend this device, and I enjoy it so much, I don't see anything out on the market that pulls me like the Nexus. Stock Android running ICS 4.0.x is the way to go to have a version of Android as Google had originally intended.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, available extended battery, lte 4g for fast mobile data, slim size
Cons: needed a much more robust sounding speaker, 3.5mm headphone jack is at the bottom, needed higher quality parts for construction

I have not put my phone down since I bought it. I never thought that I would leave the BB, but I finally did and am very pleased.

Extraordinary Phone

This phone is extraordinarily powerful. The processor is extremely fast and it has few to no hiccups. I bought it because I needed to get a new plan and figured I would get a cheaper smart-phone, and I am extremely impressed. It exceeded my expectations by far. The battery life on it is fairly short, but that is to be expected with a phone this powerful. If you monitor your apps and disable background data on apps like Currents, and disable LTE search when you are not in an LTE area, you should be fine. I would also recommend getting the extended battery if it is possible. This phone offers superior performance when compared to any other phone in it's class. One of my personal favorite features is the notification light. It's hidden yet still bright at the same time. The screen has VERY true color and is EXTREMELY easy to read and see. The phone has a sturdy construction as well.
Overall I would rate this phone as a 5/5. The price vs. features is truly amazing. Thank you Samsung.

this phone is amazing I am really glad to be a droid owner again after owning an iPhone, the iphone was a very boring and blan phone and I'm glad I'm back to the droid because I'm a very advance user and I love a Good challange!!!

FINALLY A PHONE I CAN STICK WITH

I HAVE GONE THROUGH ALOT OF PHONES BUT I FIND THIS ONE THE MOST FLUID AND COMFORTABLE. MULTITASK IS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE ON THIS PHONE. THE SCREEN IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. YOU DO GIVE UP SOME THINGS BUT IT IS WORTH IT TO ME. IT MAY NOT HAVE ALL THE BEST SPECS BUT OVERALL IT IS THE BEST PHONE I HAVE USED IN A VERY LONG TIME. DOESN'T COME WITH ALL THAT BLOAT WARE. SD CARD IS NO BIG ISSUE. THIS PHONE HAS ALOT OF STORAGE AND IF YOU USE THE GOOGLE AIR, YOU SAVE SO MUCH MORE SPACE.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, multitask, screen, software, updates, speed, google intergration
Cons: camera but minimal

Great Phone

Back to a great samsung device after several years. This Galaxy Nexus is the total package for me. Even though the camera is 5, the photos are beautiful. I love the google wallet feature. Just waiting for the LTE service to come online.
