[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The disposer is quiet and very efficient! It grinds up all we have put in, so far. We are on a septic, so we wanted a good one that is also recommended for that. We have always had good preformance from ALL GE products!

More power

We had a 1/3 HP disposal before, barely cut the mustard. It was the original with the house. This one is much more powerful and more quite. I'd recommend to anyone for an average replacement. It caught me a little off guard on installation, needed to hard wire connections, didn't come with power cord, I used my old one. Other than that it was pretty simple.

While I have only had this disposal installed for a very short time I am pleased with how quiet it operates. It has a very stylish appearance and it takes up less space under the sink than the one that was replaced. Priced to sell I would recommend this product.

Installation went well. I was very disappointed in the sound level as it is much louder the badger that it replaced. If I could do it over I would never buy this model again.
