Quiet and trouble free

I bought this to replace a smaller 1/3 hp unit. The GFC530V is quieter, more powerful and trouble free. This is an excellent unit for the price! Super easy to install. Did it in under 30 minutes!

I replaced a 1/2 hp Insinkerator with this one. Not only was it much less expensive, installation was miles easier and the unit performs comparably and is quieter, too.

I bought this model because it was advertised as powerful and quiet neither of which it is. The one we had before was a base model with the same HP. but it was much quieter and much more powerful. This one bogs when just running water into it and is unbelievably loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
