I wish I had bought a quieter unit .If I would have paid more I might have gotten one not so loud.

Leaks after install

I bought this, put it in, and now it is leaking from the bottom of the disposal, and everything that I see on the internet states it is because of a bad disposal

Just installed over the weekend and it was very easy to do. No extra parts to buy - everything that I needed was included and only a few basic tools needed.

It does an okay job...

This is not the quality product I would expect from GE. Small food pieces get stuck too easily in the drain, so my sink gets clogged frequently-we have only had this for a little over a week. Does not seem to have enough power to do the job. DISAPPOINTED!

Quiet!

We purchased this March 2015, so far so good. It is really quiet for a disposal, which is fantastic. Installation was easy and no problems so far. The product warranty plus the extra warranty we added when we bought the disposal should leave us set should any problems arise, but so far it works like a charm! I would recommend this product.
