We do like the disposal, however, it isn't as quiet as the one it has replaced. Our home is an 'open floor plan' so noise carries.

Easy to Install

The disposal has a lot of power and was easy to install. Removing the 20 year old disposal took an hour and finally required me to cut the metal retainer ring. The GFC530V was a simple installation that took 5 minutes.

I use it every time I fill my sink and wash dishes, I put my apple cores and potato scrapes. We have a large garden I use a lot of fresh veggies so therefore I have lots of peelings and trimmings.
