Run good, and a great improvement over m last disposer. Needs to run quieter, as advertised. Still fairly loud.

Easy to install and runs quietly. Fit the pre-existing quick mount to make installation even easier. The only issue I ran into was that the discharge pipe was higher up than the model it was replacing so it did not reach the existing plumbing connections without purchasing an extension but this could have been just my set up and not a fault of the disposer. Rate it 5 out of 5.

Easy installation - not too loud

Our previous disposer (different brand) cracked we switched to this and so far so good. Had to run for a pipe piece once but that had to do with how our initial disposer was installed.

I purchased this product approximately 3 years ago. I found the installation to be overcomplicated. Every other disposal manufacturer has an innerchangeable metal sink flange that is ic and simple. GE decided o use a proprietary mounting system hat is like building an 11 layer turkey sandwich. Fine. I Installed it because I didnt know any better. Now, 3 years later, i find water under my sink. The disposal is leaking at the plastic sink flange. It appears that the vibration from the disposal has unscrewed the GE plastic flange. My cabinet is soaked and warped. The rubber o ring and cardboard ring need to be replaced but Menards does not offer them. Tomorrow i will be buying a disposal not made by GE and that uses the normal metal flange system. After I fix the cabinet.

Purchased the 1/2 horse model and it was a very easy install. Good clean appearance, and quite a bit quieter than my old one. Very happy. As with other disposer, I hope this one lasts more than past the warranty.

Bought this as a replacement. It's amazingly quiet and powerful. I would definitely recommend it!!! And best of all, it's black with a metallic sticker so it will match our new black/stainless appliances!!!
