I am impressed with the features of this disposer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find this Disposer to operate with a whirlwind effect and is very quiet when in use. I was hesitant to purchase a GE appliance because of prior experience with another manufacturer. I am happy with my purchase and, if the need arises, will purchase again. Also, the price was less than the other manufacturer.

Lasting/Quiet

Excellent value, but not as easy replacement installation as advertised on the box.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This disposal is an excellent value with good features, however, we purchased it to replace a unit not made by G.E..
This unit said EZ Mount, and while we had no problem removing the old different brand disposer, it took 4-5 hours to install this unit. Be aware, this unit does not come with an attached, internally grounded power cord, so there is the added expense of purchasing a GE power cord kit which is not internally grounded. For safety, I would have preferred a unit that came with an internally grounded power cord already attached.

Easy Installation; Very Quiet
