After much research into carry-on, four-wheel-spinner luggage, I am happy I decided on the SWISSGEAR 6283. I have other SWISSGEAR bags which have endured years of use, and this suitcase was relatively cheap compared to comparable competition. My only caveat is that the extendable handle feels loose and weak.

Have bought this luggage a month ago and love it! Very durable, smooth wheels and if you are worried if the domestic USA airline won’t classify it as a carry on, you are in the clear! Passed by in Frontier and Delta.

I've used this for one trip so far. It packs easily, its overall lite weight but well made and the wheels work great. If the handle is fully extended when rolling with all four wheels on the ground, it tends to push over easily. This is addressed by fixing the handle to ½ extension.

The extending handle is flimsy and shaky to the touch. It feels like it will break off easily. I expected a better quality and sturdier construction. Other then that its a decent buy.

This is the second time I buy one of this luggage’s. My check in luggage is perfect and easy to Drag around the airport. This small carrying is giving me lots of difficulties. The wheels keep getting stuck. Making it difficult to drag around the airport.

Nice looking bag, however, the wheels are not all that great. I had to replace my original bag and the same exact problem is happening. The wheels rolled correctly for about a year on my first bag, with heavy travel. On my replacement bag, I am not satisfied with the product as the same wheel defect is happening again after only one use.

I originally bought two of these bags at a a department store about a year ago. My wife and I used them mostly for short trips, but also for longer trips. One of the bags turned out to be defective, so the one I received from Swissgear was a replacement. It is light enough to use as a carry on, and durable and roomy enough to check in and have the baggage handlers at the airport try to destroy it! It rolls easily and is very well designed for the traveler. My hope is that when this bag finally wears out, and that will be a long time, it will still be available because I would buy another in a heartbeat!

Very happy with this purchase. I've used it on just one trip so far. It DOES fit in the overhead bins on smaller planes so long as it's not stuffed super full. It's very light which is easier for toting around airports and lifting overhead. The zippers are sturdy. The four wheel feature is a great upgrade from my last bag.
My last bag was this same model, purchased over 20 years ago. It has been used for SO many trips, both in overhead, but very often checked where it received all sorts of throwing and dropping (I am sure) and only just stopped functioning as well (the handle no longer extends and retracts) in the last year.
I am very excited to have the refresh and hope it proves to be just as sturdy and long-lasting.
